Tottenham reject Bayern Munich’s latest offer for Harry Kane

Daniel Levy is one of the toughest negotiators in European soccer and he has proved it again in the Bayern Munich-Harry Kane operation. Despite the fact that the player and the German champions have had an agreement for some time, the offers coming from Munich to sign the striker have been rejected, one after the other, by the North London club.

Levy turns Bayern bid for Kane down

Chairman Levy rejected Bayern’s bid of €100 million ($110m), plus variables, for a player whose contract ends in June and is 30 years old. According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham’s refusal has infuriated the player himself and Bayern, who are already thinking of alternatives to strengthen their attack without Kane.

Vlahovic

One of the possible options for Bayern could be Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. That would make the transfer paid out by Bayern much lower than that of Kane, although the latter has been the number one target from the beginning.

Levy and Tottenham’s refusal to sell Kane in recent years has put off the many suitors who previously approached the club for the England international. It happened with Manchester City and more recently with PSG. Real Madrid were also linked with the forward, but Spurs’ high demands make any sale unlikely.
