After leaving Pumas UNAM, Erik Lira arrived at Cruz Azul where he has been able to establish himself and is now one of the players who has played the most minutes in the last two tournaments. Thanks to his strong performances, he is attracting the interest of some clubs, including Udinese.

According to information from reporter Adrian Esparza of TUDN, the Italian club are extremely interested in signing the national team player and have followed him closely in the league games every weekend. It is worth mentioning that for the moment, Udinese have not made an offer for the player, but it could happen soon.

In the last winter transfer window, Uriel Antuna was close to leaving Cruz Azul to join Panathinaikos in Greece, however, the club did not accept the offer and the Mexican international stayed put. Now, if an offer arrives, Cruz Azul would analyse it.

After the end of the 2022 World Cup, goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa left América and joined Salernitana. Despite being a veteran netminder, Ochoa has featured and has made a good impression on the Italian club’s fans.
