The 2024 European Championship is just around the corner, with the action in Germany getting underway on Friday 14 June. With club soccer now on hiatus following the Champions League final, national teams across Europe are now preparing for the competition, including Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal and Croatia, captained by Real Madrid’s Luka Modric.

The game at Estádio Nacional in Algés, Linda-a-Velha e Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo, which is near Lisbon, will be the second of Portugal’s three pre-tournament friendlies, while this will be Croatia’s last warm-up game before the competitive action gets underway.

Roberto Martínez’s team will face the Czech Republic (18 June), Turkey (22 June) and Georgia (26 June) in Group F, while Modric and Co are in Group B alongside Spain (15 June), Albania (19 June) and Italy (24 June).
