Radamel Falcao could have a new club next season. The veteran striker no longer features as much as he would like at LaLiga club Rayo Vallecano.

Malaysian side Johor Darul Takzim FC are reportedly one of the clubs interested in the Colombian, who has sparked rumours over his future by writing to the prince of Johor, who owns the club, on Twitter.

The prince of Johor posted on his official Twitter account “See you very soon”. Falcao then replied, “Looking forward to seeing you…”.

The former Atlético Madrid player wants to leave Rayo in order to play more and stay fit for the Colombia national team. He also has offers from Mexican clubs.

“We know there is a possibility. It’s something our boss is working on. We are still waiting, I can’t say anymore. Our boss will decide on Falcao,” said Esteban Solari, manager of Johor Darul Takzim.
