Who is Daniele Orsato, the referee for Manchester City - Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter final?

Who is Daniele Orsato?
Orsato was born in Vicenza and has been a UEFA referee since 2010. Before becoming a referee, he worked as a coach. The 48-year-old has a wealth of experience at this level, and has overseen more than 50 Champions League games in total with 5 coming this season already.
In terms of bookings and red cards, Orsato is not one to send players off. In all his Champions League games he has only sent off 8 players, with just 2 coming as straight red offences.
