Who will PSG sell this summer?

PSG will likely sell several players this summer as they look to rebuild their squad.

With less than three months to go in the 2022-23 season, PSG are planning for the summer transfer window with one eye on next season.

Sporting advisor Luis Campos has been heavily criticised for his work in the transfer windows, but will remain at the club as they look to build on their recent disappointments. Campos is also preparing to sell members of the current PSG squad to make room for new reinforcements.

In France, RMC Sport report that midfielders Carlos Soler and Fabián Ruiz have been placed on the transfer list. The Ligue 1 club will listen to offers for both players, who have not made major impacts since joining the reigning French champions.

Soler joined on the last day of the window and has scored seven goals and chipped in with four assists in 31 games in all competitions. His performances have not entirely convinced the PSG hierarchy and he could move on in July or August.

Fabián, who has enjoyed more time in the side than his compatriot Soler, is another player who could be on his way. The playmaker from Seville was another of Campos’ bets and, although he has been a starter in quite a few games, the Spain international has not made the desired impact at the Parc des Princes. PSG will also listen to offers for him should they come in over the summer.

PSG want to sell Ekitiké

In addition to Soler and Fabián, PSG also want to sell Hugo Ekitiké. The French forward arrived in Paris on loan from Reims in July, but with an obligatory option to buy for €40m if the club finished in the top two in Ligue 1.

Ekitiké's lack of game time, with Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé all ahead of him in the attacking pecking order, has forced Campos to place him on the transfer list.
