Why did Rodri come off for Spain against England?
The Spain midfielder didn’t come back out for the second half against England in the Euro 2024 final.

Update:
Spain midfielder Rodri picked up a hamstring injury right at the end of the first half of the Euro 2024 final against England.
The injury happened in a play where he collided with Laporte after deflecting a shot from Harry Kane. As he turned he managed to pull his hamstring, meaning he was unable to continue.
Rodri was reported to be in tears after he picked up the injury.
Zubimendi on for Rodri
The City player was substituted at half-time with Zubimendi coming on for him.
Many Spanish fans were worried about the impact of the loss of Rodri, but Spain went ahead just two minutes into the second half, thanks to Nico Williams slotting home.
