Why isn’t Jude Bellingham playing for England against France in World Cup bronze medal game?
He’s been one of the top performers of the competition but the Real Madrid man is not in the XI.

Jude Bellingham has been left out of England’s starting lineup for the World Cup third-place playoff against France as Thomas Tuchel makes seven changes from the team beaten by Argentina in the semifinals.
What’s wrong with Bellingham?
There is no immediate suggestion that Bellingham’s absence is injury-related. Instead, the midfielder appears to be among several key players given a rest after a demanding tournament and the emotional disappointment of missing out on the final.
Bellingham has been one of England’s standout performers at the World Cup, playing a central role in their run to the last four. His energy, goals and influence in midfield have made him one of the first names on Tuchel’s team sheet when the biggest prizes were still available.
However, the bronze medal game has given the England coach a chance to freshen up his lineup and reward squad players who have had fewer opportunities.
Morgan Rogers comes into midfield alongside Declan Rice, while Eberechi Eze, Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka support Ivan Toney in attack.

Why is Kobbie Mainoo not playing?
