Would-be MLS suitors lining up to sign Kevin De Bruyne
The Belgian international recently confirmed that his time with Man City will come to an end with everything pointing to a move to MLS.

Kevin De Bruyne recently confirmed that he is set to leave Manchester City at the end of the current season.

The Belgian offered no clues as to where his future lies in store and as interest grows for his signature from a number of quarters. A series of MLS clubs are reportedly keen to secure his services upon his contract expiring with City come 30 June.
Chicago Fire were reportedly the first MLS team to contact Kevin De Bruyne’s management team and despite opening conversations, no formal offer from the club from the ‘Windy City’ club has materialised.
The Athletic also claim that, in addition to Chicago Fire, Inter Miami, NYCFC and DC United are the other teams interested in signing the Belgian midfielder.

De Bruyne will assess all options in the next days and weeks, but Chicago Fire are now showing strong interest with a specific project to attract KDB.

Inter Miami’s role in a De Bruyne move
Inter Miami owns the discovery rights to Kevin De Bruyne which means that the Miami outfit have the first chance to negotiate with him should he elect to play in Major League Soccer.
Other options Stateside include NYCFC with the existing partnership between the New York team and Manchester City with DC United the other potential candidate given that they still hold a designated player spot available, which could also smooth out the negotiations and see the Washington based side get ahead in the race for the midfielder’s signature.
