Four-goal hero Luis Suárez expressed his delight as he spoke to the media following his side's 7-0 win over Valencia in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals on Wednesday evening.

"I think it's one of our most complete performances in terms of attitude and intensity with the ball, right from the first whistle," he said.

"You always do everything you can to produce the best play possible," he continued. "But tonight was one of those nights when everything came off, and the whole team deserves credit for that."

Reaching 35 goals in all competitions this season: "I don't set myself personal targets. I'm here to win trophies and help the team, and the main thing is that we're carrying on winning."

Coming into the game off the back of unconvincing displays: "We know when we don't play so well. We were aware of it and wanted to perform that bit better by showing character, hard work and playing good football."

Were you trying to lay on a goal for Neymar? "Yes, because he had missed a penalty and we wanted him to be happy."

Is the tie over at 7-0? "Anything can happen in football."

Barça have racked up more than 100 goals this term: "The whole team deserves the credit for that."
