Marcelo: "We were in control so the draw feels like a defeat"
"We'll keep battling but games away from home are proving difficult. We know need to get our focus on the Madrid derby next weekend", added the Brazilian defender.
Marcelo, was visible disappointed after his teams 1-1 draw this afternoon at La Rosaleda against Malaga: "Málaga are a great side and we knew this would be a difficult game. We made some mistakes and although the gap is opening up at the top of the table we plan to fight to the end. We had the game under control this afternoon but we just need to study our errors and ensure that we do not repeat these".
Dropping points away from home: "Today we secured a draw. We aimed for the win as we always do and as this was the case the tie today feels like a defeat. Our ganes away from home are complicated as they are at home too. Teams always up their game when they face Real Madrid. We now just need to start focusing on the next league game".
The league is beyond you: "It's always complicated and even more so now. We have to carry on and keep battling".
