Calderón crowd poke fun at Real: "Florentino, please stay!"
Following shouts of "Florentino, resign!" at the Bernabéu on Saturday, Atlético's fans aimed ironic chants at their struggling neighbours as they beat Real Sociedad.
In the wake of their weekend derby win over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, Atlético returned to home LaLiga action with a comfortable victory over Real Sociedad on Tuesday night.
And during the 3-0 triumph, the crowd at the Vicente Calderón were in no mood to pass up the chance to poke fun at the current problems their city rivals are going through.
Shouts of "Florentino, resign!" had been heard among sections of the irate Bernabéu faithful on Saturday, in protest against current Real president Florentino Pérez.
With those scenes fresh in the memory, Atlético's fans produced their own, follow-up version as they watched their side see off Sociedad - celebrating their opening goal with ironic chants of "Floren, please stay!".
