Cristiano: "We still need a bit of luck, continuity, drive..."

Cristiano Ronaldo spoke to UEFA media representatives last night after Real Madrid made it through to the quarter finals of the 2015-16 Champions League with a 4-0 aggregate score over AS Roma.

Ideal opposition in the next round: "We really don’t mind. We have to just wait and see, there are still many games to play in the current round. We’re aware that games will be much harder in the quarter and semifinals but the team is ready. We still need that extra little bit of luck, to have more hunger and drive but I feel we’re moving in the right direction".

Keylor Navas: "Keylor has always been a key player for us. In my opinion he’s one of the best. He’s playing really well and I’m delighted for him".

Bale’s performance against Roma: "Bale played really well considering he had been out of action for so long. I thought Lucas Vázquez was great too. He’s a great asset for the team, playing well and fighting when he gets a chance".

The Bernabeu fans: "It’s important to always feel the support of the fans at the ground".
