Vicente del Bosque confirmed his squad this morning as Spain prepare ahead of the forthcoming Euro 2016 tournament. The surprises from today's squad list is the inclusion of Athletic Club veteran striker Aritz Aduriz and the debut for Barça's Sergi Roberto. The Spanish coach recently confirmed that these squads may not be definitive but certainly an approximation of who can expect to be on the plane to France this summer.

The 25 players called up by the coach from Salamanca who are expected at the Las Rozas training centre next Monday are:

Casillas, Rico y De Gea; Juanfran, Mario Gaspar, Piqué, Ramos, Bartra, Nacho, Jordi Alba, Azpilicueta, Busquets, San José, Sergi Roberto, Koke, Cesc, Thiago, Isco, Nolito, Pedro, Mata, Silva, Aduriz, Morata and Alcácer.

Spain face Italy in Udine on March 24 and travel to Cluj where they face Romania on March 27.The noticeable omissions from his list are: Diego Costa, Iniesta and Carvajal.
