Real Madrid fans vote for their starting XI for El Clásico

Over 30,000 fans have cast their vote on AS.com as to what starting XI Zinedine Zidane should employ for Real Madrid on Saturday as they travel to Barcelona ahead of second El Clasico of the season.
The voting was conclusive regarding most of the starting players but threw up some interesting talking points at the same time. One surprise the poll did generate was this disaffection from the Real Madrid faithful towards midfielders James Rodriguez and Isco who polled 7.767 and 6.848 votes respectively with the chosen midfield trio of Toni Kroos (27.849), Casimiro (27.326) and Modric (32.890) generating more than an average of over three times the votes secured by the Colombian and Malaga born player.
Madrid fans are unanimous in the attacking trident of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano (The BBC) despite the fact that Madrid have yet to overcome their eternal rivals with these three players on the pitch against the Catalan side.
