This week we’ve been lucky enough to have acclaimed journalist and author Euan McTear here with us here in the AS newsroom (check out his match reports from the Barcelona - Atleti and Wolfsburg - Real Madrid matches).

In addition to writing the blogs The Basque Pass and The Catalan Pass, Euan is also the author of 'Eibar the Brave, The Extraordinary Rise of La Liga's Smallest Team' named as one of the Guardian’s best sports books of 2015. They described it as a “modern tale passionately told...chronicling a tiny Basque club’s rise to Spain’s top level”.
