A major surprise and a disappointment for Real Madrid with the news that Cristiano Ronaldo will not start tonight's Champions League game at the Etihad.

The player from Madrid is apparently still not 100% completely recovered from the hamstring strain he sustained last week at the Bernabeu.
Despite a late fitness test, the player will play no role in the action tonight as Real Madrid face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
