Ambience in Madrid: “Th people are very happy that we're both in the final. We don't care who we face. It's going to be a fantastic game to play and we will have to give everything we've got”.

Vidal called Atlético's style of football 'ugly': “We're in the final and that's the only thing that matters to us; who cares what football we play - it works for us”.

Favourites to lift 'Ol' big ears': “There isn't one, anything can happen in a one-off match. It'll be an attractive game, we'll be focusing on what we do and after that, we'll see. Now we have to finish our league games, and maintain our rhythm for the final; we've got two weeks to go and it's going to be tough”.

The fans want revenge for 2014, what's your message to them?: “We will give everything. I only ask them to believe in us, have faith in us. We don't care about the rival we face, we want to give the best we've got and win”.

How does El Cholo manage to extract the very best out of everyone in the team? “He always asks for more, he never wants you to slacken off  - there should always be tension, in training in our games and he always seems to find the right words to say to you, so that you give everything and you're at 100 per cent. He has turned me into a better player, a goal scorer - before I didn't score as many goals as I am now. I've also improved in training. Every day I learn from him - he's turned me into a winner”.
