REAL MADRID-VALENCIA
Pako Ayestaran: "I would never accept a bribe to beat Madrid"
Valencia could have a big say in LaLiga: "For us it's just another game if they had done a little more, maybe they wouldn't depend on this game".
Remaining competitive: "There is an evolution during every season. How you end is important as it dictacts how you start the next one. The events in just two or three weeks can change the decisions which clubs take, and even those made by other clubs".
Dinner with Peter Lim: "We discussed the current situation and how we can end the season well. We are just as ambitious as before. We didn't talk about my future".
Does that seem a bit strange to you, does it bug you? "Every club set their own times for dealing with issues. I've got the same passion, the same determination whether I am still here next season or not. The club has time to make their decision and they need to consider whether they require more information about me and evaluate every angle before making their decision. It doesn't annoy me. I'm very fortunate. My passion is my day-to-day work and I have the same passion here at Valencia as I would at any other club. My professionalism shouldn't depend on knowing or not knowing about my future".
Financial incentives to beat Madrid: "That's never happened to me. We all depend on ourselves. We know that we don't need any extras, and even if we were offered a sweetener, we wouldn't accept it".
Valencia having a big say in the title race: "Everyone is where they are in the table for what they have done. For us this is just another game and if they have reached this stage needing to beat us, that's down to them. I don't feel like I'm the judge of who wins the league".
The Valencia list: Alves, Ryan, Barragán, Cancelo, Mustafi, Santos, Abdennour, Vezo, Siqueira, Javi Fuego, Parejo, Danilo, Enzo Pérez, Piatti, André Gomes, Santi Mina, Rodrigo, Alcácer and Negredo.
Jaume and Feghouli are ruled out for technical reasons; Cheryshev, Gayà and Bakkali are injured.
