Hostile reception for Villarreal from section of Liverpool fans

Previously unseen footage has emerged from inside the Villarreal team bus at it made it's way to Anfield last Thursday ahead of the Europa League semi-final against Liverpool.

Despite the atmosphere in the city on match-day being excellent with great rapport between home and visiting fans, tension was palpable as the bus headed for the stadium with numerous cans of beer being hurled at the coach. 

The game itself passed off incident free with Liverpool winning 3-0 and making it through to the Basel final where they face another Spanish side, Sevilla next Wednesday.
