REAL MADRID

Marotta: "Morata's future depends on outcome of Milan final"

The Juventus club executive maintained: "We'll do all we can to keep him here as he feels the club is perfect for his development".

Update:
Álvaro Morata

Beppe Marotta the Director General at Juventus spoke out again concerning the future of Álvaro Morata. He talked to Mediaset and was adamant that the Spanish striker wishes to remain at the Serie A club and that negotiations with Real Madrid will commence after the Champions League final in Milan

“Keeping Morata at the club is an important objective for us but what happens at the Champions League final may have much to do with his future. We’ll do all we can to fulfill his wishes to stay in Turin where he feels he is at a club that is perfect for his career development”

Juve want to keep the forward but there has been speculation that Madrid want to exercise the buy-back clause and trade Morata to one of the many interested Premier League clubs (with Arsenal being leading contenders for his signature).

"Morata’s future doesn’t solely depend on Juventus despite our desire for him to remain here but the outcome of the conversations with Real Madrid will dictate his future” recently stated Marotta.

The player himself is anxious to have his future decided before he joins the Spanish national squad ahead of Euro 2016 in June but at present it’s a case of sit and wait for the 23 year old.
