After the shock of being forced out of Tuesday's session as result of a collision with Kiko Casilla, Cristiano Ronaldo was able to train without any apparent problems just three day's ahead of this week's Champions League final in Milan. "It was a knock, to the left thigh, that's all; I'll be fine by tomorrow or the day after and by Saturday's I'll be back to my best level", the Portuguese ace told reporters in the Mixed Zone at Valdebebas shortly after the incident. Just 24 hours on, Cristiano is back training and looks set to start on Saturday.

Cristiano took care not to overdo it in Wednesday's workout. He took part in the ball control exercises and passing drills but dropped down a gear in the mini-practice match which Zidane organized at the end of the session (four reserve team players were involved: Llorente, Mayoral, Ødegaard and goalkeeper, Carlos Abad). The only two players who were absent from today's session were Raphaël Varane, who is recovering from a Grade II injury to his left hamstring and Álvaro Arbeloa, who exercised inside the gym.
