Update:
Mariano Rajoy: “May the best team win”

Spain’s acting Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy sent out words of encouragement to Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid supporters ahead of tonight's crunch final in Milan, although he did sit on the fence when making a prediction about the eventual winner in Milan: “May the best team win”.

“All I’ll say is may the best team win. Everyone knows which one is the best, although maybe not everyone would agree. Many thanks,” Rajoy told journalists at the 32nd Círculo de Economía Meeting.

The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel García-Margallo, also participated in the forum, and offered a clearer idea on the outcome of tonight’s all-Madrid final: “2-0 to Real Madrid”.
