Kranevitter seduced by Sevilla loan offer

The player is fully committed to the move, and is waiting to be given the green light by Atlético de Madrid. Sevilla would not be offered a first option to buy the midfielder.

Matías Kranevitter could be a Sevilla player within the next few hours. The Argentine midfielder is only waiting for his one-year loan deal to be approved and stamped by Atlético de Madrid, allowing him to be the Andalucian side's third capture of the summer, following new additions Hiroshi Kiyotake and Pablo Sarabia. The basis of the operation would be a straight one-season loan but Sevilla would not get the first option to buy the player at the end of the  arrangement. Kranevitter is completely committed to the move and now must wait for Atlético to send the relevant documents to close the deal - a formality which shouldn't take too much time to be completed.

Meanwhile Sevilla are still negotiating for UD Las Palmas' Roque Mesa and Brazilian attacking midfielder Paulo Henrique Chagas de Lima 'Ganso'  although initial bids for both players have been rejected. Roque Mesa has given his thumbs up to the move, but now Sevilla must decide which players they can include in a part-exchange to reduce the cost. Talks have been moving at a much slower pace for the Brazilian player whose economic rights are part owned by an third party investment fund and São Paulo, which has made negotiations more complicated than expected.

Sevilla president José Castro spoke about other movements at the club.

Krychowiak

Negotiacions are underway but nothing has been closed. We don't usually diosclose figures but if he leaves, it will be for a substantial fee as we do not want to sell him. Any transfer fee will not meet the buy-out clause but would be an important source of income for the club. Players are sold at the price which the board and the sports department deem fit.

Emery's exit

We do not have one bad word to say about our former coach. Our press department worked with him to ensure that we could give him a proper send-off but for various motives, he didn't want any fuss made. He more than exceeded our aspiration and the doors of this club will always remain open for him to give him an opportunity to say goodbye in the manner he wishes.
