Pogba in no doubt: "I'd give the Ballon d'Or to Cristiano now"

Pogba spoke to Mexican journalists in excellent Spanish at the Espy awards, saying that he'd hand the Ballon d'Or to Cristiano right now after a trophy-laden season. The Juventus player acknowledged that Barcelona's Leo Messi and Real Madrid's Ronaldo are on the same level, but this year belongs to CR7 and there should be no doubt about who the prize goes to: "They should give the Ballon d'Or to Cristiano Ronaldo right now. He won the Champions League and Euro 2016", he said in perfect Spanish.

Pogba's opinion on the best players in the world

Asked about who is the best in the world right now, Pogba was a little more hesitant. “Right now it's Messi and Cristiano. I'd say it's both of them. Griezmann has also had a marvellous year”.

Pogba was interviewed with three shirts in front of him: Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United, and when pressured into picking one he answered: "I'll take all three thanks".
