New scoreboards fitted at the Santiago Bernabéu
The four video scorebaords at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium will be replaced with larger ones: 31x 5 metres in dimension.
The Santiago Bernabéu will boast newer, larger video scoreboards this season. As part of the modernization work going in this summer at the stadium, one of the first operations has been to fit the four video scoreboards with the latest, energy-efficient LED technology which will also provide a higher quality to the display. The two scoreboards at the either end of the ground will be larger - 31 by 5 metres in dimension, while the video displays on the sides of the stadium will also be bigger than their predecessor: 15 metres long and one metre in height. At the same time, as AS recently reported, new turf is being laid on the Bernabéu pitch - grass which has been cultivated in the town of Arévalo, close to Ávila.
