Ben Arfa bawled out by Emery: "You're no Messi"

French newspaper L'Équipe has published details of Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery's increasingly fractious relationship with summer signing Hatem Ben Arfa.

Former Newcastle United and Hull City man Ben Arfa earned a move to the Parisian giants in July after turning his troubled career around at fellow Ligue 1 side Nice last season.

But his enfant-terrible image has again reared its head at PSG, with the 29-year-old left out of Emery's matchday squad for the team's last three games and the Spaniard publicly demanding more from him earlier this month.

"You're not capable of winning a game on your own"

And L'Équipe has revealed a recent training-ground dressing-down dished out to Ben Arfa by Emery.

"You're no Messi," he is said to have barked at Ben Arfa. "If you were, I wouldn't say anything to you at all. You're not capable of winning a game all on your own like him."
