Prandelli targets Simone Zaza for January Valencia move
According to 'La Gazzetta', the Valencia coach has already made contact by phone with the Italy international, who is on loan from Juventus.
Cesare Prandelli seems to have settled on the striker he wants to reinforce his Valencia side in the January transfer window. In the wake of several reports in Mexican and British media outlets claiming that Chicharito Hernández was the man on Valencia Drector of Sport Jesús García Pitarch's wishlist, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian coach has his sights set on bringing in compatriot, Simone Zaza.
Hammers loan
Juventus loaned Zaza out to West Ham over the summer. A clause in that loan contract states that should he play a determined number of games, the Hammers will eventually end up as owners of the Italy international. But Zaza hasn't had an ideal start in east London, failing to convince coach Slaven Bilic and the fans.
Prandelli knows the situation and, according to La Gazzetta, has asked García Pitarch to speak directly to Juventus and West Ham with a view to bringing Zaza to Mestalla in January.
