Zidane: Real Madrid boss out to "win everything in front of us"

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane was joined by captains Sergio Ramos and Marcelo as the club wished their fans a Happy New Year and looked ahead to 2017.

All three spoke of their determination to add to the silverware won by Real in 2016 - 12 months that saw Los Blancos lift the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.

"We're going to try to win everything that we have in front of us," said Zidane. "All the games are important and in the end we want to bring joy to the players, but also to all the people who support the team."

Real skipper Ramos, meanwhile, declared: "As always we aspire to win the three competitions; the league, Champions League and the Copa del Rey, along with other titles that may come our way.

"From that base we'll try to play good football, give everything for the badge and then everything will be easier when it comes to achieving success."

Vice-captain Marcelo concluded: "We're going to enjoy all of the tournaments and give everything in order to win, going in to every game and training session with excitement as we try to win."
