Carlos Tévez' move to China has left Boca Juniors short-handed up front. Several Argentinian media outlets are reporting that they have singled out his replacement, and the man is Angel Correa from Atletico Madrid. Boca tried and failed to loan the player during the summer but they are ready to go back to the well and try again as representatives from the Argentine club are ready to speak to Miguel Ángel Gil in the coming days.

Atletico Madrid have high hopes for the player but he has fallen in the pecking order is not currently developing as the club might have liked. He is now a regular feature on the bench alongside Fernando Torres as Kevin Gameiro and Antoine Griezmann occupy the two striker positions in Simeone's side.

He has played 20 times this season, and scored five goals, but the bulk of those appearences were off the bench.
