Things haven’t gone very well for Jesé Rodríguez in Paris and the former Real Madrid forward looks certain to depart just six months after joining the Ligue 1 champions.
Jesé’s preferred destination is to return to his native Canary Islands with Las Palmas and he is prepared to take a pay cut and to force the issue with PSG by turning down offers from Roma and Milan.
Roma offer
According to Canary Islands daily La Provincia, there is an agreement between Jesé and Las Palmas for the move to take place but PSG are more interested in Roma’s proposal, which would see the Serie A club pay the players wages in their entirety and sign him for a fee of 20 million euros in the summer.
Financial issues
PSG would prefer Jesé’s next destination to assume his wages, which leaves Las Palmas in a spot as the Liga club cannot pick up the three million euros it will cost to have Jesé on board for the next six months. Both the interested Italian clubs can meet the expense but Jesé would prefer to return to La Liga and Las Palmas. However, it seems that the club will have to dig deep for Jesé even if the player accepts a salary drop and manages to persuade PSG to meet him halfway.
