William Saliba injury update: Arsenal defender injured with France
The Frenchman was substituted during the first half of his team’s World Cup semi-final against Spain.

France defender William Saliba was taken off in the World Cup semi-final on Tuesday, appearing to suffer a back injury.
Saliba was on the ball when he pulled up and sank to the floor, calling for medical assistance. After a brief check from the France medical staff he got to his feet and gingerly walked from the field, replaced by Maxence Lecroix.
Saliba appeared to tell the team physio that it was a back issue, before leaving the field.
