Real Madrid attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard is to join SC Heerenveen on loan, the Dutch outfit have confirmed.
To be presented on Tuesday morning
In a statement on their website, the Eredivisie side revealed that the 18-year-old Norwegian is to be unveiled on Tuesday morning at 11:30 CET.
The announcement did not offer any information on the length of Odegaard's temporary switch, which is believed to be until the end of the season.

Signed in January 2015 from Stromsgodset, the then 16-year-old became Los Blancos' youngest ever debutant in a LaLiga clash against Getafe four months later.
But having mainly played for Real's reserves, and with no immediate prospect of first-team football, the Norway cap has been moved out on loan to gain experience.
Loan to Rennes failed to materialise
After seeing a deal with Ligue 1 club Rennes fall through, Odegaard was also linked with Ajax, but Heerenveen have now secured his services.
