Ronald Koeman was once the king of the free-kick but Lionel Messi moved ahead of the former Barcelona player on 26 goals from free-kicks after he curled home to give Barcelona the lead against Athletic Bilbao in their Copa del Rey last 16 game at the Camp Nou.
It seems Koeman is keen to recognise the record that the current Barcelona attacker now holds and posted a picture to his Twitter account with the new record. Messi needs just one more to break yet another Barcelona record.
