Good news for Real Madrid and Zidane: Carvajal sets return date
Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal, currently out injured, said he'll be back for the Tuesday 7 February, meaning he could play against Napoli in the Champions League.
Real Madrid defender Carvajal expects to be back next week
Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has announced when he expects to be back from the injury that has kept him out since just before the loss to Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey in mid-January.
Carvajal suffered hamstring strain
Carvajal, paying a visit to the Real Madrid Foundation social sports school in Leganés, said he expected "to be training next Tuesday", 7 February, meaning he could well be fit for the LaLiga match against Osasuna on 11 February. Carvajal suffered a grade 2 injury to his hamstring, in training.
Carvajal aims to be back at training on Tuesday
"I'm working hard to get back and this week I'll start... first without the ball, then with. If everything goes well I'll be training with the team next Tuesday", said the Spanish international defender.
If Carvajal does manage to train on Tuesday it means he'll definitely be in with a good chance of being ready for the Champions League game against Napoli, at the Bernabéu on 15 February.
More good news for Zidane
There was more good news for Zidane and Real Madrid today, with Marcelo and James back training after their recent injuries.
