Emmanuel Adebayor joins Süper Lig side Basaksehir
The former Real Madrid and Spurs frontman has been without a club since last summer but his performances at CAN have tempted the Istanbul side.
Estambul
Istanbul-based Süper Lig side Basaksehir officially unveiled Emmanuel Adebayor as their player on transfer deadline day.
The former Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Tottenham striker was a free agent after being released by Crystal Palace at the end of last season but the striker proved he hasn’t lost his touch at the Africa Cup of Nations with Togo, where he made four appearances for the Sparrow Hawks.
Basaksehir have finally landed their man after an unsuccessful attempt to sign the 32-year-old last summer.
The Turkish side are currently second in the Süper Lig, two points behind leaders Besiktas.
