Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammates when he was a youth player on Madeira, his native island, used to call him “cry baby,” one of his former colleagues has revealed.
“We called him that because he wanted to win as much back then as he does today and when he lost and the other kids wouldn’t pass him the ball he’d leave in tears,” Ricardo Santos, who played alongside Ronaldo at CF Andorinha, said in an interview with Reuters.
