Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Juventus and Monaco are the four teams who will take their place in the semi-finals of the 2016/17 Champions League.

LaLiga clubs Real and Atlético booked their last-four spots on Tuesday night with aggregate wins over Bayern Munich and Leicester City, respectively.

Meanwhile, Wednesday evening saw Juventus oust Barcelona and Monaco complete a quarter-final victory over Borussia Dortmund.

Champions League semi-final draw on Friday at 12:00 CEST

The quartet will learn the identity of their semi-final opponents in the Champions League draw at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday 21 April.

The draw will begin at 12:00 CEST. There will be no seedings, and teams from the same federation can be paired with each other - meaning a Madrid derby is possible.

Semi-finals get underway on 2 May

The semi-final first legs will be played on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 May, with the second legs scheduled for Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 May.

The first club out of the hat in each tie will be the home side in the opening leg.

Friday's event in Nyon will additionally witness a draw to determine whether the winner of semi-final 1 or semi-final 2 will be the 'home' team in the final, which is to be contested at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday 3 June.
