Pepe Mel's Deportivo barely tested Real Sociedad in San Sebastián at the weekend but the team is upbeat about their chances against Wednesday's guests at Riazor, Real Madrid. Striker  Florin Andone says he and the rest of his team mates are really up the game and keen to get their revenge on Zidane's team who narrowly beat Depor when the two teams met at the Bernabéu in Week 15, with Sergio Ramos heading in the winner on 92 minutes: "I'd like to be able to play this match at our ground. I remember the meeting with Madrid from earlier this season and I'm still angry about it. I can assure you that we are really up for this game and we're going to go for Real Madrid and try to take a good result from it".

Madrid will be keen to get back to winning ways against Deportivo, warns Andone

Andone admits that he would have preferred Real Madrid to go into the game a little more relaxed after what happened in El Clásico: "To be honest I would have preferred it if Madrid had beaten Barça. But we can't be worrying about that. Madrid is the best team and it doesn't matter who plays, they have tremendous potential". The Romanian added that it is a help that Sergio Ramos is suspended and will stay at home: "It's a relief that he won't be playing. He's the best centre-back in the world".

Andone loves "competing against the best sides - Madrid and Barcelona"

Andone declared that these are the kinds of matches which players wait all year to come around: "Real Madrid and Barça are the two best teams and I always enjoy competing against them. We want to be involved in the game, to show what we are capable of and that we have value too, and we are good players and a good team. We're all talking about the game among ourselves and we can't wait for matchday to arrive. We've got to go into the game at 100 per cent and try to tip the game in our favour. We beat Barça, so there's no reason why we can't beat Madrid too"
