Twitter: Bayern not amused by Cristiano Ronaldo follow prompt

The Bundesliga club's official US account bit back at the social-media platform after the Real Madrid ace appeared on their 'Who to follow' bar.

Cristiano celebrates one of his goals against Bayern Munich at the Bernabéu.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has again left Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich well and truly miffed - but on this occasion it's not because of his goals.

Bayern, who sealed a fifth straight German title on Saturday, were knocked out of the Champions League by Real in April, CR7 scoring five across the quarter-final tie.

The Bavarians came away from the second leg seething at refereeing decisions, including the failure to spot that Cristiano was offside for two of his goals.

"Really, Twitter?!" - Bayern not buying Cristiano suggestion

"Really, Twitter?!", was Bayern's withering response on Monday, accompanied by a screenshot of the suggestion and an 'angry face' emoticon.
