Alba on the bench for Barça; Digne and the MSN start
Luis Enrique has opted to leave the Spain international out again despite opting for a back four against visiting Villarreal.
Luis Enrique has left Jordi Alba on the bench again for the match against Villarreal at Camp Nou with Lucas Digne preferred at left back.
Alba out in the cold
The Spain international has sat out several high-profile games this season when Enrique has opted for a back three, including the home leg of the Champions League quarter-final against PSG and the away fixture against Juventus in the semi-finals as well as Liga matches against Atlético, Valencia and Sevilla. However, even in the 4-3-3 the Barcelona boss has selected for Saturday's game there is no place for Alba.
Messi, Suárez and Neymar all start
Leo Messi, Neymar and Luis Suárez all start for the home side while Fran Escribà has opted for a 4-4-2 with Roberto Soldado and Cédric Bakambu leading the line.
