According to reports in today's The Times, Sandro Ramírez has agreed personal terms with Everton who are ready to meet the player's retention fee of six million euros (5.7 million pounds). Málaga's technical department fear that the operation will take place of immediate effect and they are already sounding out the markets to find a replacement striker.

Sandro impresses Koeman

Everton manager Ronald Koeman and Director of Football Steve Walsh were seen in the VIP lounge at La Rosaleda taking a closer look at the 21-year-old during last Sunday's meeting between Málaga and Celta. After the game, Koeman stayed behind to chat in private to Sandro's agent Ginés Carvajal.

The Canary Island-born forward is Málaga's top scorer in his first season with the club with 14 goals - he has scored in 11 of the team's 12 victories in the league. The player has drawn attention from a host of clubs including Sevilla. Atlético, Villarreal, Newcastle, Liverpool, Stoke City, Tottenham and Southampton.
