James absent from training after Bernabéu 'farewell'
Real Madrid have started preparing for Wednesday's rescheduled league game against Celta at Balaídos - a game they must win to remain in the title race.
Real Madrid returned to the training ground in Valdebebas on Monday as Zinedine Zidane and his coaching team began preparations for Wednesday's trip to Vigo for the rescheduled Week 21 meeting with Celta.
Bale, Coentrao and Carvajal still out injured
James Rodríguez wasn't seen out on the practices picthes at Real Madrid City - nor were Dani Carvajal and Gareth Bale involved in the session - the three players exercised indoors with Fabio Coentrao and a handful of Real Madrid Castilla players such as Lienhart, Lin, Quezada, Nikos and Mario. James' absence fuels speculation that his days are the club are numbered and that he could be on the move this summer.
15 years to the day since Zidane's winner in Glasgow
On the 15th anniversary of his unforgettable winning strike in the 2002 Champions League final in Glasgow, Zidane prepared a session on a reduced pitch which was centred around pressing techniques, possession, ball control, shooting and crossing.
The players are due back in Valdebebas tomorrow ay 11am to finalize their plans for the Celta game - the first of two matches which Zidane's team must win to beat Barcelona to the league title ahead of their Champions League final meeting with Juventus in Cardiff on 3rd June.
