Trezeguet advises Mbappé not to sign for Real Madrid
The former French footballer said, "he should stay in Monaco for one more year, it would be good for him."
David Trezeguet has been caught up in the talk of Kylian Mbappe, world football's rising star. The former Juventus and Monaco striker has advised the 18-year-old not to sign for Real Madrid with speculation mounting that the Spanish club are very serious about signing the player from the Ligue 1 Champions. Monaco have improved his contract, however, in the last two months and it seems prying him away from Monaco this summer, at least, will be an uphill battle for los Blancos.
Trezeguet gives Mbappe advise
"I think he has everything to became one of the world's best strikers, he has an exceptional future ahead of him. But we need to give him time, and ensure that he is happy. At his age, he is something very unique and they have spoken about his future in recent times. He has to prove himself and we can't forget that he's only 18. He has plenty of time to know football at the highest level and with time we will know if it's Real Madrid, Barça, Juve..."
Mbappé has dazzled this season at Monaco. He has scored 15 goals and 11 assists in 28 games in Ligue 1 as they cruised to their first title in 17 years. He also scored six goals in nine Champions League games.
