Iker Casillas ends Porto contract with enigmatic messages
The Spanish goalkeeper put out some thought-provoking messages on social media as he bid farewell to Portugal, his home since leaving Real Madrid in 2015.

Iker Casillas ends his contract with Porto in a little over 20 days time after finishing the Primeira Liga season in second place behind Benfica. The 36-year old's future is still uncertain with Premier League club Liverpool believed to have shown some interest, among others.

A renewed contract with Porto is looking less and less likely by the day for the former Real Madrid goalkeeper and Spanish number one, however, the Portuguese press have not been slow to react to two messages he posted to Twitter and Instagram. “It is not my country but I am very grateful to it," he wrote under a photo from a small boat with a flag of Portugal on it.
