Sandro Ramírez is set to sign for English Premier League club Everton, with the former Barcelona striker from the Canary Islands having passed a medical during his day and a half off from Under 21 duty with Spain.
Atlético Madrid keen on Sandro
Despite Atlético Madrid being extremely keen on the Málaga striker, who finished the season with 14 goals and five assists in LaLiga, their inability to sign players this summer due to their transfer ban, saw Sandro decide to head away from Spain.
Everton will likely lose Lukaku this summer, with the Belgian international keen on returning to Chelsea with Conte looking for a substitute for Diego Costa, who in turn looks to be set for a move back to Atlético. The talk is of Chelsea being willing to send around 100 million euros Everton's way for the second highest scorer in the English league last season (25 goals), opening the door to a starting place for Sandro at Everton.
Sandro's 6 million euro buy-out clause
Sandro's buy-out clause is six million euros, which Everton will be paying over to Málaga as soon as the deal is finalised, which is expected to be at some point over the weekend.
Sandro is currently with the Spain Under 21 set-up, with a game against Macedonia on Saturday evening.
