Donnarumma: Pogba defends Real Madrid, Juventus target
Paul Pogba, who has the same agent as Gianluigi Donnarumma, has backed the keeper after he opted not to renew his AC Milan contract.
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has come out in defence of goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma following his decision not to renew his AC Milan contract.
The news has enraged the Rossoneri faithful, with supporters throwing fake dollars at the 18-year-old while he was in action for Italy Under-21s on Sunday.
Pogba: Donnarumma "deserves only respect"
Fans at the European Under-21 Championship game against Denmark also displayed a banner saying 'Dollarumma' and chanted the slight at the player.
And France star Pogba, who like Donnarumma is represented by agent Mino Raiola, took to Twitter on Monday to declare that the keeper "deserves only respect":
Real Madrid, Juventus leading Donnarumma chase
Donnarumma's decision not to extend his deal, which expires in 2018, has put clubs across Europe on red alert, with Real Madrid and Juventus likely destinations.
However, Milan sporting director Massimo Mirabelli has said that the Serie A outfit are not giving up on the highly-rated youngster yet.
