Maxi Gómez jets into Vigo to complete Celta move
The Uruguayan forward, who spent the last two seasons with Defensor Sporting, will sign up until 2022 with the Galician side.

Uruguayan centre-forward Maxi Gómez, Celta de Vigo's first reinforcement for the 2017/2018 season, flew into Vigo-Peinador airport this morning, where he was met by ex-player and member of the Galician club's technical team, Borja Oubiña.
Celta to present Maxi Gómez in Balaídos this week
Gómez, who spent the last two seasons with Montevideo-based Defensor Sporting, with whom he won the Uruguayan Apertura, joins Celta until 2022 and will be formally unveiled at Balaídos in the next few days.
The 20-year-old impressed Celta scouts with his prolific goal-scoring after having netted 14 goals in 20 games - a feat which the Spanish side described as " quite spectacular".
