New Real Sociedad kit released - and the fans aren't impressed
La Real have revealed their strips for the 2017/18 season, with supporters of the LaLiga club swift to give the home shirt the thumbs-down.
Real Sociedad have released their kit for next season - to a decidedly unenthusiastic response.
La Real supporters surprised by narrow stripes
Made by German manufacturer Adidas for the fourth year running, the LaLiga outfit's 2017/18 home jersey features narrower-than-usual blue and white stripes that haven't gone down well with the fans.
Reacting to the club's Twitter reveal of the shirt, one social-media user compared it to pyjamas, while another said: "I wouldn't want it even if it were free".
Another supporter of the Basque side responded simply: "Horrible".
La Real have also unveiled their new away colours, swapping the black of last season for an all-orange change strip rounded off with blue trim.
Last week, fellow LaLiga club Espanyol - who also traditionally wear blue and white stripes - attracted criticism over the innovative design of their 17/18 shirt.
