Atlético Madrid smash club season ticket holder record

Last season, Atlético registered the highest number of socios or club members - 102,416 - a figure they will surpass this season. Over 105,000 fans now form part of the Rojiblanco family.
Atlético receive record petitions from club members
That is mainly due to socios renewing their tickets on a massive scale. So far, 98% of the club's season ticket holder and non-season ticket holders have continued their bond with the club; a further 6,000 new socios have been registered. To date, more than 53,000 season ticket holders have reserved their seats at the new Wanda Metropolitano stadium while the petitions of another 2,500 are being attended to through the club's web site.
Waiting list for season tickets
Atleti have also created a waiting list for all of their club members who are interesting in becoming season ticket holders as the new stadium is already almost at full capacity. All signed-up club members who are not ion possession of a season ticket can enjoy perks such as invitations to league games (although not home games against Real Madrid or Barcelona), vouchers and first priority tickets and discounts on merchandising in the club store as well as other advantages.
